Realization Process-nondual embodiment
Coming to truly inhabit your body and knowing yourself as the very deepest aspect of all of existence, allows you to experience yourself as whole, authentic, resilient and connected-regardless of past experiences and circumstances.
The Realization Process, is a set of practices/meditations, founded by Spiritual Teacher and Psychotherapist, Judith Blackstone, PhD. Being guided through the practices gently allows one to experience themselves as Fundamental or Unitive Consciousness, which is the deepest aspect of ourselves; it is the ground of our being, our fundamental essence. Knowing yourself, experientially, as this presence is what allows one to also know themself as one with all, as this presence is the ground of all existence; nothing is separate from this essence/presence/consciousness.
As a certified teacher in the Realization Process, Kelly skillfully guides her clients through practices that allow them to become more grounded within themselves, to feel connected with themselves in a new and vital way and to know themselves as an unchanging and resilient presence. As her clients become more familiar with embodying and knowing themselves as fundamental consciousness deep change occurs naturally and the experience of life shifts.
“The unity of oneself and one’s surroundings is called nonduality...
The body is our instrument of realization.
Enlightenment occurs in and through the body.”
- Judith Blackstone -
Fundamental/Unitive Consciousness is talked about in various spiritual traditions, philosophies and is known by different words/names including but not limited to non-duality, Self, Awareness, Pure Consciousness, Enlightenment, Anatman, Buddha-nature, Self-Realization and Christ Consciousness.
There are many emotional, mental, spiritual and physical benefits to coming to embody fundamental consciousness or nonduality. By learning to inhabit our bodies and experience ourselves as Fundamental Consciousness/non-dual; we open to life more fully, let go of constrictions (that form as a result of protecting against life) that are held within the body, and can begin to experience a new depth, joy, expansiveness and connectedness in life. By knowing yourself in this deepest way, you come to experience yourself as resilient to life’s challenges, more open to the inherent joy and beauty of life and become more capable of being in relationship in a deep and authentic way.
Individuals learn to protect themselves against life’s challenges, thus creating constrictive patterns within their mental/emotional and energetic systems, creating defenses and therefore begin to experience themselves as limited and separate. This alone has the potential to cause emotional challenges which then impact all aspects of one’s life. Through embodying fundamental consciousness, these constrictions slowly become dis-entangled, and the patterns become no longer necessary because of the now known experience of BEING this unchanging presence, and feeling/being it's peace, stability, and grounding capacity.
You can access a short, recorded meditation that can help you recognize and experience what it is like to experience this type of embodiment which is not the same as most therapy/meditative practices which only have you put the focus on and/or become aware of the body and its’ sensations. The difference between these two approaches is significant and can make your healing journey one of greater depth.

“By inhabiting our body, we heal the rift between body and mind, between perception, cognition, emotion, and physical sensation, and between self and other. Wherever we inhabit our body, we are both in contact with ourselves and open and available to the present moment in our environment. In the internal depth of our body, we access an experience of unified consciousness pervading our body and environment. This ground feels like our own true nature, the basis of our authentic connection with ourselves, with our environment, and with other people.”
